The Pharmacist / Pharmacy Administrator is responsible for managing the ship’s pharmacy operations, dispensing medications, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products for passengers and crew. This role supports the medical team by maintaining medication inventory, providing pharmaceutical guidance, and ensuring compliance with international maritime health regulations. Key Responsibilities Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications under medical supervision Manage and maintain accurate records of all medications and controlled substances Monitor medication stock levels and coordinate timely resupply Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of all pharmaceutical products Provide advice and guidance to medical staff, passengers, and crew regarding medication use Maintain compliance with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals Assist the medical team in preparing and administering medications Participate in onboard health and safety protocols, including emergency medical responses Conduct regular audits of pharmacy inventory and processes Train medical and support staff on safe medication handling when required
